How Rep550 works
Five bodyweight exercises, 550 reps, one 45-minute clock. No gym, no equipment.
The idea
The table is ten rows of five exercises: squats, push-ups, lunges, burpees and sit-ups. Each column adds up to 110 reps, so a finished table is 550.
The rep counts ladder in opposite directions — one exercise counts down from 20 while the next counts up from 2 — so no two neighbouring moves are hard at the same moment. That's the whole trick.
45 minutes is the target, not the rule. Finishing is the win, however long it takes, even across days.
Running a round
- 1Press Start. The clock begins and the app shows one exercise at a time — you never have to read the table while you're breathing hard.
- 2Do the reps, press Done, move to the next cell. Undo steps back if you tap by mistake.
- 3When the last cell is done the round is finished and saved. You can share it right there, or start another.
Training with friends
- 1Invite a friend by email from the Friends page. They accept, and you're connected.
- 2Connected friends see each other's finished rounds and a leaderboard ranked on best time. You can hide any single round, hide your results from one friend, or disconnect entirely.
- 3Sharing needs both of you to be Pro members. If either membership lapses, sharing pauses by itself and resumes when it's active again — nothing is lost in between.
Broadcast live
- 1While you're mid-round, connected friends can follow along on your friend page — the grid fills in and the clock ticks as you go.
- 2A watch link goes further: a plain web address anyone can open, no account needed. Create it on your account page and hand it out. It only ever shows the round you're doing right now.
- 3It's all one switch on your account page — Share my live training. Off, nobody sees the round in progress. On, connected friends can. Add a watch link on top of that and anyone holding it can too. Your finished rounds are untouched either way, and nothing is public unless you made it so.
Free vs Pro
The workout is free, forever, and needs no account: the table, the clock, and your rounds saved on this device. Sharing a finished round is free too, though it needs an account — a published link has to belong to someone who can take it down again. Rep550 Pro adds the things that only matter once you want to keep and compare what you've done: every round saved to your account, continuing on another device, friends and the leaderboard, watching each other train live, and no ads.
Pro is $29 a year — $2.42 a month — with a 7-day free trial.

Start your first roundCommon questions
Do I need an account to use it?
No. The whole workout runs in your browser and your rounds are saved on your device. An account only matters when you want your history in the cloud, friends, or a link to share.
What if I can't finish in 45 minutes?
Then you take longer. 45 minutes is a target to aim at, not a pass mark — the app tells you that when you finish, and it means it. Rest between sets, split it across days if you need to. Finishing is the result.
Can I do it without any equipment?
Yes. All five exercises are bodyweight: squats, push-ups, lunges, burpees, sit-ups. You need about two metres of floor.
What happens to the rounds I did before I signed up?
They're on your device already, and they're uploaded to your account when you subscribe. Nothing you did while free is lost.
I want friends to watch me train, but not the public. How?
Turn Share my live training on and don't create a watch link. Your account page will then read Friends: On, Public: Off — connected friends can follow your round, and because no public link exists there is no address for anyone else to open.
What's the difference between the switch and the watch link?
The switch decides whether anyone at all can see the round you're doing — turn it off and you're invisible to friends and link holders at once. The watch link is the second step, available only while the switch is on, and it adds the public: a plain address anyone can open. Turning the link off leaves friends watching; turning the switch off stops everything. Your account page states both as Friends and Public, so you never have to work it out.
If I share a finished round, what can people see?
That one round: the filled table, the reps, the time, the date and your display name — never your email. No ranking against anyone else. The page is a snapshot, so changing things later doesn't change it, and Stop sharing deletes it and breaks the link for good.
Can my friends see rounds I gave up on?
No. Restarted rounds are never shared — the app doesn't send them. You can also hide any completed round from friends, which removes it from the leaderboard too, so hiding a personal best genuinely hides it.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Rounds recorded on your device stay yours and keep working. Cloud history, friends and live sharing pause while the membership is inactive, and everything comes back if you subscribe again — nothing is deleted in the meantime.
